Couple of observations from our first 10 days at home

Tantrums still occur & at times, it's difficult to tell what sparked them. But, Atsede's in particular, getting much shorter. Kebrom has had a hard time with Paul going back to work, lots of adjustments for that little one. He's a hard little bugger to hang onto when he's mad, maybe a future wrestler.

This morning, Geoffrey & Kebrom built a huge building out of the keva planks. Geoffrey built the tall part & Kebrom built the entryway & road. Kebrom was SO THRILLED with how the building turned out, he danced around it when they were done.

JoyLynn LOVES having a little sister to play with & this morning could not WAIT for Atsede to wake up. JL kept complaining A was STILL sleeping. JL also loves having morning tea with her sister.

Geoffrey & Paul played tennis together again last night. Any guesses who won?

Atsede loved riding in the cart at REI.

Atsede & Kebrom like the idea of ice cream, but don't like that it's cold & sweet. She loved the chocolate & nuts on top though, & ate those.

We still haven't found too many foods they are thrilled about eating. They're getting to be better sports about trying it, but if they don't like it, don't seem to understand swallowing is just as good as holding it in their mouths forever, til they find something to spit it in!! Olives are a big yuck. They weren't impressed with asparagus or brocolli, not sure they've ever had much in the way of fresh vegetables. Would still be living on scrambled eggs & bananas if we let them.

So many new experiences :)
