Just one more day!!
Actually, even less than 24 hours. Staying busy works to keep our mind of it to a degree, but it only takes a moments pause, to think, 'how many more hours???'
We went to visit Super Gramps, Paul's Grandpa, in the hospital today. He's been in since about January & he's not looking very good. Please keep him in your prayers...we've got quite the prayer list these days. MRSA infection in his elbow that is knocking his body for a loop. Gramps hasn't lost an ounce of his spunk & for that we are grateful. He & Grandma Mona will celebrate 25 years together on Tuesday.
Tuesday, the day AFTER out court date. We'll know whether or not they are ours & see if we can post pictures. I wonder if the waiting to pick them up, gets harder or easier after court.
It's funny how each season of the adoption journey has its challenges, not unlike pregnancy. Decisions, paperwork, waiting, paperwork...waiting, waiting...with so many things out of my control.
We continue to work through our list of items 'still needed.' Watching craig's list for bunkbeds, or the perfect bed. Wondering what kind of stroller to take to Africa, definately umbrella, but not sure from there. 3 families are visiting Mekele this weekend & said they got tons of pictures. They get to bring their children home next week. So excited for them to be home & excited to see their photos!!
If you have time, check out http://kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/ A 21 year old gal who moved to Uganda to care for orphans. She's amazing.
