Life is good...and moving on!

It's crazy how fast time can fly by!! MONTHS since I've been here...here's a few highlights! And, I have no idea why this is making one giant paragraph; I didn't type it that way. Kebrom has had his blood drawn twice. AND, drum roll please...his viral loads are MUCH LOWER than they ever have been. This means, his body may be fighting off the Hep B virus entirely, WOOHOO!! He gets to go 6 months between blood tests, a major record for us. Oh, and since his body isn't spending so much time fighting the virus, he's GROWING. Like an inch between mid-August & mid-October. He eats non stop & sleeps about 12 hours a night. Takes a lot of energy to grow like that. He's still a total motorhead. He's constantly analyzing trucks, which ones he's going to have when he gets big. He also loves playing foot ball with dad & is developing quite the arm. Atsede is in 1st grade at Valley Christian. She LOVES school!! After school, she wants to do her homework & is constantly following siblings/me around, asking us (who are usually trying to feed/unload car/put groceries away) to read her the instructions so she can GET IT DONE! She still is sleeping 10-1/2 hours a night, still growing like crazy. JoyLynn is in 5th grade. She's been doing some basketball. And, she bought a steer, Momes. Paul thought it was such a great idea, he bought a cow for us to raise & butcher. I thought their ideas were so good, I bought a heifer calf...3 'mini' cows, the 2 steers & 1 heifer have no happily joined our menagerie. JoyLynn happily goes out & feeds twice a day, without complaint. She's amazing. Kyra is a freshman at Valley Christian, yes, back in school. It was a bit of a transition, after being happily homeschooled. She's doing well. I do miss having her around, for sure. Brenna is a junior, at home (HURRAY, one still at home!). Thought, between piano, youth group, teaching a geography class for young homeschoolers, volunteering at church, nose in the books...don't see her too much :) She's very good company to Kebrom & I at home. Having her gone for 6 weeks this summer, was HARD. She had a fabulous time moving with her group from missionary to missionary, with some sightseeing thrown in, from Vienna to Berlin, but somehow in the transition, she forgot how to use the phone. Geoffrey is in his 2nd year at the University. He's a peer leader, which means he leads a group for the infamous Chem 141. Paul kept thinking I was saying, 'cheer' leader & wondered how he missed his son signing up for THAT! Think we've finally gotten that straight.
