Kebrom's eyes
We spent 2-1/2 hours at the eye doctor yesterday, most of that just WAITING!! BUT...it was well worth the wait to receive the good news!
He didn't see any reason for Kebrom to be labeled as having 'an eye condition' as stated by the embassy doctor. We've noticed one eye getting a little 'lazy' when Kebrom is really tired. But, the doctor said he can usually re-create that in his office & he was unable to do.
There is some unusual blood vessel growth in one eye, apparently typical in East Africa, that the doctor saw in one eye. He would like to re-check it in 8 months & if there are no changes, we'll get an all clear.
Kebrom thought the entire experience quite exciting (except for the eye drops). Great tractor book in the waiting room, and they let him push the buttons on the very cool eye doctor chair.
