How long does it take...
to convince our Atsede & Kebrom that McDonald's hamburgers are YUMMY???
Answer...38 days!!
We've tried them twice before. The first time, both turned up their noses. The second time, the day JoyLynn broke her arm, Kebrom at his; but, Atsede still a no go. Today, Kebrom ate 1-1/2 & Atsede ate an entire hamburger. Of course, after running errands for 2 hours (Mom didn't realize it had gotten so late, right during lunch)...they were STARVING. I heard chants of 'rabek' & 'rabesh' (Amharic for hungry) coming from the back seats. The chants were getting louder, and louder. Somehow, waiting until we got home just didn't seem like a good option.
I'm continually amazed with how good Brenna & Kyra, in particular, are with the little ones. Daughter that hates running errands, got into the car without complaint, to be an extra set of hands. When Kebrom starting hollering in Wal Mart, he didn't want IN the cart, then he didn't want OUT of the cart...sister stayed with JoyLynn who was purchasing with her birthday gift card. My daughters are such a blessing to me!!
