Less than 2 weeks
As long as the embassy approval comes in, 2 weeks from right now, we should be holding A&K...can't believe this journey is coming to fruition!
Last night, was listing off things that must be done today. Geoffrey needs new tennis shoes, and Astede & Kebrom need socks. Before, I had months to prepare for them, and now their 'needs' are making the immediate to-do list.
I'm feeling every so much better from the surgery, looking forward to being active again and making progress on that list.
Then, if I start thinking hard about bringing A&K home, I do panic, just a bit. It's not like I think we're doing the wrong thing or anything like that, just the panic of...will there be enough Mom & Dad to go around? Will they adjust & like it? How will they grieve? Will Geoffrey, Brenna, Kyra & JoyLynn feel ignored? Will the house be ready? Will they miss Ethiopia? Will they want to return?
Our children are truly only on loan from the Lord anyway, but somehow, these two seem even more so.

Glad you're feeling better! Can't wait to see pics of your family all together! Sooo exciting! :)
