A&K get to 'meet' us today

In a manner of speaking...today they receive their gallon ziploc bags, complete with photo albums of our family. Ethiopia is 9 hours ahead of us (MST)...meaning, they've 'met' us already. Someone said they would try to video or at least take picture of the kids' reactions, ooh, I hope they are good reactions. What if they scowl, or worse yet, cry? They should enjoy the candy & the bubbles, hopefully those, at least will score us some points. We were hoping to hear today, but more likely, will not receive info til agency director returns to the states in two weeks.
I wonder if A&K really comprehend what is happening, or are they simply waiting for their original family to come get them.
