It continues to amaze me....
sometimes, it's the things we have no idea will have any impact...will have a huge one.
I've been looking for a loft type bunkbed unit, for well over a year. We've never been the first caller, or they were well our of our price range, or not exactly what we were looking for. Til Friday.
There' on Craig's list...exactly what I've been looking for. Full size bed on top, drawers built in...very sturdy, twin trundle...and right in our price range. And, as it turns out, sold by a lady I just recently did a Pampered Chef party for!!
Saturday morning, Paul, Geoffrey, Kebrom & I went to pick them up. All pieces get loaded, lots of pieces!! It takes a great portion of the day to assemble them (without assembly instructions), and get the room arranged just so.
JoyLynn is on top of the new to us, full size loft bed. We thought Atsede would want to sleep up there with JoyLynn. We were wrong.
Atsede wanted the top bunk of the 'old' bunkbeds. She kept saying, her own bed. The first time, she's ever had her own bed. It's been quite the topic of conversation for her. I heard her telling her cousin at church this morning all about it & asking if she'd come look at her 'own' bed.
The little things we take for granted.
