4" & growing
That could explain all those 12 hour sleep nights! Atsede just keeps growing straight up. Her size 6's are getting short, good thing we should be hitting shorts weather soon!!
Kebrom has done his share of growing, but not at the same rate as his sister. Kebrom has an appointment at Seattle Children's hospital to check out those troublesome liver function numbers next week. Please keep him in your prayers as we ask God for a healthy liver in Kebrom.
Atsede has to be the happiest child on the field during track practice. Paul (if you let him) would go ON, and ON, and ON about her form in the hurdles. Maybe he's just a bit biased about the tiny girl in pink sailing over those things (mini sized ones). Kebrom is a bit miffed he isn't able to 'do' track, so he practices. "Uncle Mark, get set, GO!" Just have to tell you, that never gets old. Brings a smile to my face every time.
Time continues quickly moving along, as we head towards Geoffrey's high school graduation, just a week from Sunday. He's had 3 AP tests so far this week & has one more next week. Can't imagine how good that will feel to have it all behind him. He was awarded the University of Montana's Presidential Leadership scholarship, quite an achievement. And the best part, for this mom, that means he'll be here for college & I feel quite blessed about that.
