Atsede's big announcement!

'Dad, I'm not going to lie anymore.'

Can I just say, WOOHOO!! HURRAY!! WOOHOO!!

We've been seeing some really good things these last few days in Atsede. More affection. More questions, in fact, LOTS of questions. She's a chatterbox when she's feeling secure about life. How frustrating it must have been for those months she couldn't express herself. Seriously, I think she's only quiet when she's sleeping :)

Kebrom has been quite challenging lately, but not from an emotional perspective. Rather, the little boy thinks he should be able to write on the walls, write on the window seat, break things, not obey, go outside whenever he wants, wear dirty shoes in the house...all those typical little boy behaviors.

I'll take typical any day.
