This is the FUN MOST I ever had!
Atsede earnestly whispered into Paul's ear last, during family charades last night. We spent New Years Eve at home, just our family. And, with 8 of us, it still felt like a crowd!!
We watched the Husky basketball game, played a board game with the older kids, had gyros...then played the family charades. Kebrom was oblivious, he just like to play with the pieces to the game. Atsede however, was totally into it. She was shrieking as she tried to figure out the clues. Then, when it was her turn, she do the motions. If it was a tie between two people shouting the answer, she'd announce, "We better do it again!" And she do the exact same motions, but watch the 2 people who'd shouted the answer, so she could determine just who had been first.
It was wonderful. It never ceased to thrill us...the entire game long. On the last turn, Kebrom decided he wanted to try. We never could figure out what the motions meant.
The chocolate fondue was a hit with Atsede also. My chocolate loving girl was the first one tasting, and by far, the last one still eating away.
They both hated to go to bed. We did have them turn in around 10, 2 hours behind their normal schedule, they fell to sleep immediately.
We finished the evening with great conversation with the older children, and watching the ball drop on TV.
I have to agree with Atsede. It was the fun most we ever had.
