We land in Denver, kids are so asleep,
nothing even gets a move. Paul & Kebrom, Me holding Atsede...and now 6 carryons between us. We managed to get off the plane & realized we had about 80 gates to cover. We'd make it about 10, before I'd need a rest.
Atsede wasn't used to being held & she'd lean WAY back, instead of holding on...she just wanted to lay down & was irritated with that I wouldn't let her. I kept telling her, just hold onto me & when we get there, you can lay down!!
We finally got to the gate...to find our Missoula plane, delayed. We met several other friendly people while we waited. Atsede slept, Kebrom slept a little & then played with his mahkeenahs. We pulled out the DVD player we'd hauled 1/2 way across the world, to discover, they're just not into TV. We expected they'd be thrilled, but just not that interested.
The let us all board at once, when they finally called our flight. All 4 of us promptly feel asleep when the plane took off...so good to wake & be landing in Missoula, home at last...our family complete.
