First Sunday in church

It was so wonderful to bring Atsede & Kebrom to church. So wonderful to share their faces with church family who have been praying for us during this long process. It was an honor to take them forward for prayer, where Jeff & Deatte Powell (who have a beautiful adopted, now married, daughter from S. Korea) prayed over them, from such a position of understanding. Many of our extended family gathered to lay hands on them as well. What a blessing, what a heritage of faith...I feel so blessed with the church family God has blessed us with.
Atsede wore the traditional dress we bought her in Ethiopia. It was so sweet...she felt (and looked) beautiful.
